The Day that Sparked a Connection.
The sky, once shrouded in dark clouds, had cleared, revealing the warm embrace of the sun. I stood at the train station my eyes met with the one I had been waiting for.
Our journey began with a visit to a bookstore. We browsed the shelves, seeking books that would spark her interest.
Our footsteps then led us to a park, a park of literature they called. We sat down and engaged in conversation. I was captivated by her every word. She spoke passionately about a lott of topics, and I found myself hanging on to every word, my heart brimming with warm.
Our eyes met frequently, and I gazed into her sparkling eyes, their twinkle like stars, and her smile that could warm the coldest of souls. She was effortlessly charming, her simple yet elegant style made her even more captivating.
Our day continued to a cozy cafe. She opted for a matcha latte, as coffee wasn’t her cup of tea. We resumed our conversation, sharing stories with enthusiasm.
I yearned to know her more, to build a long relation with her. My priority was her happiness. I wanted to witness her growth and see her achieve all her dreams.
I wanted to always put a smile on her face, to be the one whenever she needed a shoulder to lean on. I wanted her to know that I would always be there for her, no matter what life threw our way.
The future stretched out before us, a canvas of endless possibilities. I eagerly awaited the countless precious moments that lay ahead, the beautiful moments that awaited.
Getting to know her: She prefers matcha over coffee, and enjoys the thrill of catching her own dinner on overnight fishing trips. We even had a fun photobooth session together. She loves random trivia and games, and always seemed to have an interesting fact to share. While she never explicitly said it, I felt a sense of protectiveness from her. Sadly, she lost a close friend in her early college years. We talked at length about Taman Literasi and even had a fun discussion about what cranes do after work (apparently it’s not much!). We bonded over a book about the “Law of Attraction,”. The funniest moment? Trying to take a grasshopper away from her — she wasn’t a fan!
